Texas cities can levy both local property and sales taxes to fund police and fire departments, hospitals, libraries, parks, utilities, economic development and other public services. The City of Nolanville is seeking to exceed standards set by the Transparency Stars Program administered by the Texas State Comptrollers Office.
Fiscal Year 2016-2017
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $67,344 or 7.32%, and of that amount
$67,980 is tax revenue to be raised from new property
added to the tax roll this year.
