The Nolanville City Elections were normally held every year on the uniform election date in May. However, due to the Legislative change of Senate Bill 100 that took effect on September 1, 2011, City Elections will now be held on the uniform election date in November. This change is being enforced because of the substantial cost that the City would have to incur to remain with the current May elections.  The City of Nolanville will contract with the Bell County Election Division to hold the City Elections. With this procedure the election cost and time on the City will be reduced greatly.

On October 6, 2011 the Nolanville City Council approved, and passed, Resolution No 2011-10-06 #2011 to change the City Election date. This change will take effect during the 2012 November Elections.  There will be two (2) Council members and the Mayor that will have a six (6) month extension added to their current term due to this change.

Every odd number year three council members are voted in and every even number year the mayor and two council members are voted in.Voter registration cards are available at City Hall. If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to this change or any other election/voting information, please feel free to contact the City Secretary at (254) 698-6335.
